Zenzula

The Zenzula is a perfect companion for Yoga, Relaxation & Meditation, Story Telling as well as for creating beautiful Music, it does not need any prior training of music and could be played by the young and grownups alike.

The Zenzula Regular has 9 tines and a teakwood soundboard that produces deep and long-lasting meditative tones. The design is hand-carved and is structurally made into a very stable arrangement that can easily undergo the rigors of sustained playing.

Tongo

If beats excite you then Tongo is the answer to that longing, an instrument with the sound of the Tongo has never been attempted anywhere in the world. The Tongo signifies joy, dance, excitement, free-spiritedness & jubilation, it is the pulse of Africa!

KaZula

The KaZula has 15 tunes spread on two levels and a teakwood soundboard that is perfect for playing percussive rhythms and melodies. The design is hand-carved and is structurally made into a very stable arrangement that can easily undergo the rigors of sustained playing. The harmonic table on which the hand-beaten metal notes are arranged is tuned to a pentatonic scale and is re-adjustable to one’s choice and liking.

Kalimba

The Kalimba was adapted from the traditional Mbira of Zimbabwe and popularised throughout South-East Africa in the 1960s. The angelic sound of the instrument comes from the assembly of high carbon steel notes stress mounted on a carved wooden harmonic table. The traditional Kalimba has 15 notes arranged on two levels, the Bass on the bottom and the High Pitched Notes on the upper level. This particular Kalimba is tuned in a Blue pigmy scale. It is arranged like a traditional Nyunga Nyunga but on a beautiful scale of CMa7.

We at Zenzula are a team that aims to produce world class products that do justice to our creative instincts and enhance the meaning of everybody’s everyday existence. We are a young mix of learners, artisans and thinkers who believe in the common goal of stretching the boundaries, and executing with perfection, the mission of developing musical instruments and products that inspire happiness and have missed the attention of people’s everyday lives over the centuries.
